Polymorphous defines the beautiful and terrible in nature and acknowledges the micro and macrocosm where life is expressed in color, light, and energy — a force of destruction and regeneration — where the Universe, mind, and spirit are eternal. A source of inspiration for this series is Odilon Redon’s “Les Fleurs du mall” (The Flowers of Evil) after Charles Baudelarie’s “Les Fleurs du Mal”. Similarly, borrowing from fin de siècle of the previous (19th and early 20th) centuries, my series takes a contemporary approach and features dark, imaginative, and often evocative imagery that explores humanity's fascination with both beauty and horror, spiritual and sensual experiences and the dark side of the human soul.
