Cosmologies
Cosmologies explores the inner and outer realm, the conscious and unconscious, the world of wonder, nature, and alchemy — where we see ourselves as part of a cosmic drama unfolding, experiencing life with heightened sensitivity — a visual counterpart to Alan Watts’s statement, “You are the universe experiencing itself.” Often seen swimming in some elemental (water) or ethereal (cosmic) substance, this series borrows from Dante’s Inferno and Michael Mazur’s own visual interpretation of the 1997 translation by Robert Pinsky.
